gave 10 for a mosquito net |

Marie lives with her mother, sister, and two brothers in a single bedroom zinc sheet home with no electricity, and no running water. Marie’s father works as a guard and abandoned the family over six years ago. Her mother, blind and a beggar, is the main provider of the home. She does not make enough to cover the basic family needs.
Marie works hard to help her family. Marie begs with her mother on the streets so that they can make ends meet. She also helps her elder sister to launder and fetch water for the rest of the family. Marie wants to be a nurse when she grows up, but cannot go to school just yet.
Though her family is in a difficult spot, Marie’s new mosquito net is a great help. By remaining free from malaria, Marie stays healthy and motivated to tackle the future. Thank you, Noelle, for your kindness and generosity.
