Malaria Protection for a Future Nurse

Naomi attends the Ahmadiyya Islamic primary school and is enrolled in class three. She is eight years old and extends her thanks for the provision of bed net which protects her from malaria.

Naomi’s mother is a housewife and helps people in the neighborhood. Naomi’s father, Johnny, works at a mine close to the home. He is the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $60. This income is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home. Naomi has two brothers and a sister and the family lives in a single bedroom zinc sheet home with no running water or electricity. Naomi dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up.
