A Bed Net for a Future Carpenter

AARON
Dear Luciane,

Aaron is in grade 4 at the local Wellington community school. He lives with his grandmother and three cousins in a single bedroom apartment with no running water, and no electricity.
His father is not a highly skilled mason, and he is the main provider. His grandmother is a gardener. The monthly income of the family is about $50, which is barely sufficient to cover the basic family needs. Aaron wants to be a carpenter when he grows up.

Aaron lives in acute poverty, and sometimes goes to school without eating any food. When he is sick it is the church that arranges for his visit to the doctor.

Thank you, Luciane. Your gift of a mosquito net will ensure Aaron is safe from malaria.
