Fatmata, Yallie, and Adama live in the Wellington Community. Fatmata is a mother of two children and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $40, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs. Her husband is a student at one of the universities of Sierra Leone. They live in a mud house with no running water, no electricity, and a poor toilet facility.
Yallie lives at her aunt’s house. Her aunt has four children and a husband in a two bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity in Wellington. Yallie finds it difficult to live a normal life with all the errands she does for this family. She wants to go to school but is unable to do so.
Adama lives with her father, mother, two brothers, and two sisters in a two bedroom house with no electricity and no running water.
Thank you Marta for your gifts! The mosquito nets help protect these neighbors from malaria! Your donation is greatly appreciated!
