Dressed for World-Changing Success

MABEL
Dear Paloma,

Mabel is an inspiration. Mabel lives with two siblings in a 1-bedroom apartment without electricity or running water. Sadly, her parents have passed away. Her older sister earns only $60 a month as a petty trader. To earn lunch money, Mabel does errands for people in her community.

Despite her current circumstances, Mabel finds it within herself to bring hope to others by encouraging them to trust in God. She plans to do humanitarian work when she grows up, so Mabel pays attention in school each day and studies hard. Your kind gift of a uniform allows Mabel to attend school fully prepared and presentable. Thank you so much, Paloma!

Better Than an Apple a Day

GRACE
Dear Katie, Sam, and Udayan,

When it’s time for Grace to sleep, she joins her mother and two of her sisters on the single bed they share.  The whole family lives in a 1-bedroom house with no electricity or running water.  Grace’s father is a plumber, earning $50 a month.  As you can imagine, this is not enough to meet the basic needs of his family. Sadly, they usually go to bed on empty stomachs. In spite of difficulties, Grace has high hopes for the future and studies late at night. One day, she plans on teaching!

Your generous donations mean that Grace will have the nutritional supplements her growing body and developing mind need.  Grace can’t say thank you all enough. A big thank you to Katie for providing six months of supplements. All your kindness is appreciated!
