Many Mouths Offer A Multitude of Thanks!

KARGBO_FAMILY
Dear chris,

The Kargbo family –  all ten of them – lives in a rented, two bedroom apartment with no running water or electricity. As a driver, the father earns only $80 per month, which is far less than required to meet the needs of his large family.

Since receiving the bag of rice you generously donated, every member of the Kargbo family is certain to have at least one regular meal each day. It may not seem like enough, but it is so much more than they have had. You cannot imagine how sincerely grateful the Kargbo family is to you, Chris! You have changed their lives! Thank you!

Dear Laurent,

Seray lives with her parents, brothers and sisters in a 2-bedroom house without electricity or running water. Her father is a driver, and the sole breadwinner, but earns only $60 a month. Seray does light errands for her neighbors in order to raise money for her school lunch each day.

Seray wants to be a nurse, and knows how important it is to “dress the part”, so she was delighted to receive the pair of uniforms, shoes and socks that you donated. With her new uniform, Seray can attend school looking smart! Thank you for showing concern for this budding caregiver, Laurent!

Protection for Those Who Cannot Protect Themselves

KELFALA_SALIFU_THERESSA_SALLY_SAFFIE
Dear Laurent,

Sally, Kelfala, Salifu, Saffie and Theressa are now sleeping more soundly. All of them live in homes without running water and some do not have electricity, creating the kind of environment in which malaria-carrying mosquitoes thrive. Since their families have minimal monthly incomes, they cannot spare their resources to pay for the prevention or treatment of malaria.

Your generous donation of treated bed nets means necessary protection for those who are not able to protect themselves. Sally, Kelfala, Salifu, Saffie and Theressa express their deepest gratitude to you, Laurent, and so do we!

So overwhelmed was Foday when he received the bag of rice you donated, that he declared the day “a holiday!” You can never know how much your kindness means to this proud patriarch and his grandchildren. Thank you for feeding the mouth of these families! They can never thank you enough, Laurent!
