Agnes has three sisters and four brothers, which may be why this 7-year-old wants to be a seamstress when she gets older. Her family’s two bedroom apartment in Sierra Leone has no electricity, but Agnes’ parents do what they can to make it a comfortable home on her father’s monthly salary of $70.
Agnes and her family know how malaria can devastate a person’s health, so they are extremely appreciative of your kind donation. Thank you, A, for helping Agnes sleeps at night and making her future outlook brighter!

The Bangura family lives in a single bedroom mud house with no running water or electricity. Since the passing of her husband, Kadiatu has been caring for their six children by herself. She earns about $50 each month as a petty trader, but cannot provide all that her family of seven requires. Their situation is so dire that one of Kadiatu’s children can no longer attend school because there is not enough money to pay the fees.
The bag of rice you donated has filled their bellies and lifted their spirits. Your kind gesture has given the Bangura family renewed hope, Sarah, and they thank you for that priceless gift!

This joint household in Sierra Leone is comprised of two family units. Winifred and her husband, Amidu, have a daughter named Amilda. Sonia and Gibrilla have two children – Ramatu and Mohamed. Winifred and Sonia manage the home and care for the children. Amidu is a mason, and the main provider of the entire household because Gibrilla is currently unemployed. Amidu’s monthly income of $60 can hardly meet the basic needs of this household of seven.
With your generous donation of one bag or rice, Ray and Lael, you have blessed two grateful families and helped make their children’s future outlook brighter! They express their deepest gratitude for your kindness, Ray and Lael. Thank you!
