Isatu is 13 years old and lives with her parents and two sisters in an apartment in Sierra Leone. Her father makes $50 per month by selling books. Sadly, this is not enough to cover basic needs like schooling and food for a family of five. Isatu’s mother is in training to become a nurse to help provide for the family.
Isatu wants to become computer literate so she can eventually become a lawyer. Her favorite subject is English and she likes to read. Door of Hope provides education and computer training courses for ambitious students like Isatu so they can escape the trap of poverty.
Thank you, Donnie, for supporting Isatu in reaching her goals. With your help, she can one day become a lawyer and adequately provide for her own family. Door of Hope and Isatu are grateful for your support and care. Thank you, Again, Donnie, for providing Isatu with these vital skills.
