Theresa is in the second grade at the I-Tech International School in Sierra Leone. Her father, David, is a firefighter and is the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $40. This is not enough to cover the basic needs of the family like nutritional food. Theresa’s mother is a housewife and has two other daughters. They live in a single bedroom apartment with no running water or electricity.
Because of the size of Theresa’s family and the small amount of income to support them all, the family cannot afford to regularly eat balanced meals. Door of Hope provides nutritional supplements to children from families of poor economic backgrounds. Theresa received a year supply of vitamin supplements from Door of Hope.
Now, Theresa can grow to be a happy, healthy girl because of your donations, Kristen, Phillip, Whitney, Phillip D., and Ojus. Theresa is grateful that she can focus on her studies rather than issues like finding healthy food. Thank you, again, for brightening Theresa’s future and allowing her to have a healthy childhood.
