Fatmata lives with her mother and two sisters in a single bedroom apartment with no running water or electricity. Her mother is a petty trader that sells assorted food items and is the sole provider of the home with monthly income of $40. Fatmata is in the sixth grade at the FAWE primary school. Her favorite subjects are English, Social Studies, and Home Economics.
Door of Hope provides computer training for children like Fatmata so they can better achieve their goals. Fatmata would like to be a lawyer when she grows up and computer training will be a critical skill to have when continuing her studies..
