Hawa is in the sixth grade at FAWE primary school. Her favorite subjects are Social Studies, Religion and Moral Education, and English. Hawa hopes to be a lawyer when she grows up. Her father is a teacher and only makes $70 per month. Her mother sells coal at local markets to help support the family as well. Hawa has three sisters and cannot afford to attend school because of the family’s poor economic standing.
Door of Hope offers opportunities for children like Hawa in Sierra Leone that can change their lives with a little investment. Thanks to your donations, Molly, Robert, and Xingzhao, Hawa received a year of computer training from Door of Hope.
Hawa enjoys the computer training and practice exercises. It had been her dream for a long time to get access to this training so she was delighted to be offered this opportunity. This training is helping to prepare her for her future career.
Thank you Molly, Robert and Xingzhao for making this computer training dream come true.
