Family Sleeps Soundly!

SANDY FAMILY
Dear UBS,

Victor, Fatmata, Margret, Kadiatu, Alfred, and Fredicia live in Wellington, a community in the eastern part of Freetown, Sierra Leone. They reside in a single bedroom mud house with no running water or electricity. The father, Victor, is a teacher at a primary school in the community. He earns 65 dollars a month, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs.

On top off all of these obstacles, the possibility of catching malaria is very high in Freetown. Thanks to your contribution, UBS, which provided every member of this family with a treated mosquito net, the threat of malaria is no longer a risk — they can now focus on their dreams.

Fatmata, the mother, is a seamstress in training. Margret attends Browndel Preparatory school and is working to become a doctor one day. Kadiatu goes to Vickrays Community Primary School and wants to be a lawyer when she grows up. Alfred attends UMC Primary school and is still thinking about what he wants to do when he grows up. Fredicia is still an infant. Thanks again UBS for providing the family of Victor and Fatmata with treated bed nets!
