Marian is a five year-old girl who lives with her parents and sister in an unfinished building with no running water or electricity in Sierra Leone; Marian and her sister sleep on a mat spread on a bare floor. Their father is a carpenter with a monthly income of $30 and their mother is a petty trader who earns the same meager wage. Together they still do not make enough to meet the basic needs of their family. Marian is in first grade at the Vicrays Community Primary School; she wants to be a doctor when she grows up and she uses a kerosene lamp to study at night.
Marian and her family extend thanks to you, Priyanka, for the year supply of vitamin supplements. It will help Marian maintain better nutrition during hard times and allow her to focus her energy on realizing her dreams!
