Your generosity is working to increase educational access for girls in Sierra Leone!
Haja is fifteen years old and is in sixth grade at her local primary school in Freetown. Her family lives in a small two bedroom apartment with no running water. Haja’s father is a tailor and the main provider for the household, though his monthly income is not enough to cover the basic needs of the family. Haja’s mother is a housewife and helps take care of Haja’s two sisters and one brother.
Haja is a driven student who loves to study math. She hopes that her schooling will help her become a nurse when she grows up.
