Marian Lebbie is five years of age. She very grateful for the provision of Vitamin supplements – that will help nourish her growing body.
She attends the Vicrays community primary school and she is in class one. Her father is a carpenter and a co-provider of the home with monthly income of $30 – not enough to cover the basic family needs. The mother is a petty trader that sells Foo- Foo (local food) and also a co-provider of the home with monthly income of $30. They live in an unfinished building with no running water and electricity.
Marian wants to be a doctor when she grows. She uses a kerosene lamp to study at night. She and her sister sleep on a mat spread on a bare floor.
