Essential Computer Skills for Hassanatu
posted June 28, 2012

Hassanatu is an eleven year old girl who lives with her parents, three brothers, and two sisters in a two bedroom apartment with electricity but no running water. Hassanatu’s mother Ramatu is a hair dresser with a monthly income of $40 and her father is a cobbler with a monthly income of $60 which together is not enough to cover the basic needs of their home.
Hassanatu is a pupil of the FAWE primary school and she is in class six; her favorite subject is Mathematics and she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She wants to learn the computer so she can be a modern doctor and she is thankful for your donation because she knows the training will help change her life.
