Computer Skills for a Story Writer

IMG_2174
Dear Ruben, Max, Kim, Eran, Barbara, Katie, Akiko, and Cristen,

Hajaratu is a fourteen year old girl who lives with her parents, three sisters and six brothers in a three bedroom apartment with electricity but no running water.  Hajaratu is a pupil of the FAWE primary school and is in class six; her favorite subject is Social Studies and she likes writing and telling stories. She wants to be banker when she grows up.

Hajaratu’s father Salieu and mother Haja are both petty traders that sell rummage and slippers.  Her father is the main provider of their home with a monthly income of $100 and her mother is a co-provider for their home with a monthly income of $60; together, it is still not enough to cover the basic needs of their home.

Hajaratu thanks you for the computer training scholarship; she understands that computer skills are necessary for her dream to be a banker in the future and her family is not able to provide this training for her.
