Michaela is twelve years old. She is a pupil of the FAWE primary school and is in class six. Her favorite subject is mathematics and she enjoys drawing, singing and reading in her free time. She wants to be a banker and a pastor when she grows up.
Michaela has three sisters and four brothers, a grandmother, a grandfather, and two parents all living together in a four bedroom apartment with no running water but with electricity.
Michaela’s mother is a petty trader and a co-provider of the home with a monthly income of $50. Michaela’s father is a driver and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $80. Together their income is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home.
