Kaday lives with her parents, three brothers, and two sisters in a two bedroom apartment with electricity but no running water in Sierra Leone.
Kaday’s mother, Konnie, is a teacher and co-provider of the home with a monthly income of $70. Kaday’s father, Alimamy, is a nurse and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $100. Together, their incomes are not enough to cover the basic needs of the family.
Kaday is thirteen years old. She is a pupil of the FAWE primary school and she is in class six. Her favorite subject is English Language. She likes reading as well and is also interested in drama. Kaday wants to be a teacher when she grows up.
Kaday is excited about taking computer class. She knows that computer skills will broaden her career opportunities. Thank you for providing Kaday with this great opportunity.
