Fatmata is five years old. She is a first grader at the Wellington Orphanage primary school in Sierra Leone. She wants to be a medical doctor when she grows up.
Fatmata’s father is a teacher and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $60. This is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home. Fatmata’s mother is a housewife.
Fatmata, her parents, and two dependent relatives live in a two bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity.
Fatmata extends her thanks for your donation that provided her with two uniforms, a pair of shoes, and a pair of socks for school.
