Princess is a seven-year-old third grader at the FAWE primary school in Sierra Leone. She enjoys mathematics and English. At night she uses a kerosene lamp to study. Her favorite activities are reading and singing.
Princess lives with her parents, three sisters, a brother, an uncle, and aunt — all in a two bedroom apartment with no running water or electricity.
Her father, Dickson, is an office messenger and the main provider with a monthly income of $50. Janet, her mother, also works as a petty trader selling assorted items, but her income varies. Together they do not earn enough to cover the basic needs of the family.
Thank you, Stephanie, Heather, Nicole, Beth, Trish, Jerame, Kandace, Molly, and Yosia for your donation! Princess wants to be a lawyer when she grows up and the computer training undoubtedly will help her on that path.
