Salamatu Sleeps Safe

SALMATU
Dear Madison,

Salamatu lives with her parents, a brother, and a sister in a single bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity. Her father sells bread and is the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $50. This is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home. Her mother sells fish and uses the proceeds to help support her husband in providing for the home.

Salamatu is seven years old, she attends the High Tech Primary School in Freetown, Sierra Leone and is in class two. Salamatu wants to be a medical doctor when she grows up.

She expresses her thanks and appreciation for the provision of a bed net. She is now safe from malaria.
