Bilkisu dreams of becoming a nurse!

Bilkisu is five years old and she lives with her parents, two brothers, and a sister in Sierra Leone. Their single-bedroom apartment in the Wellington community has no running water or electricity. Her father David and mother Fatmata are petty traders, and their monthly income of $50 is not enough to cover many of the family’s basic needs.

Bilkisu knows how devastating contacting malaria can be, and she dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up. The treated mosquito bed net that you, Madison, generously donated ensures a good night’s sleep for Bilkisu and helps make her future look brighter!
