Hope and Full Bellies for a Family of Seven

The Bangura family lives in a single bedroom mud house with no running water or electricity. Since the passing of her husband, Kadiatu has been caring for their six children by herself. She earns about $50 each month as a petty trader, but cannot provide all that her family of seven requires.  Their situation is so dire that one of Kadiatu’s children can no longer attend school because there is not enough money to pay the fees.
