Delighted to Attend Computer Classes

AGNES
Dear Sabari, Larissa, Udai, Matthew, Cindy, Craig, and Tim and Melissa,

Agnes is twelve years old, and she lives with her parents, three sisters, and four brothers in a two bedroom apartment. They have no running water, but they do have electricity.

Agnes’ father is a farmer and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $40. This is not enough to cover the basic family needs.

Agnes’ mother is also a farmer and a petty trader who sells produce from the farm where her husband also works.

Agnes attends the FAWE primary school in Freetown, Sierra Leone and she is in class five. Her favorite subject is mathematics, and reading is her favorite activity. She wants to be a bank manager when she grows up.

Agnes is thrilled to have a year of computer lessons, as she needs computer skills to become an efficient banker! She hopes to help improve the banking system in Sierra Leone someday.
