A Mosquito Net for Alhajie

Alhajie is 10 years old. He does not live with his parents because they live and work as vegetable farmers in a remote area. Instead, Alhajie stays with his uncle so he can attend school. In addition to Alhajie, the uncle tries to provide for his wife and six children on a driver’s salary of $60 each month.

The experience of seeing his parents and uncle struggle to balance household budgets has contributed to Alhajie’s desire to be a banker when he grows up.
