Sheku, Juliana and Osman are at different stages in life. Osman wants to redefine his future, so he has enrolled in a university in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Sheku and his four children live in a 2-bedroom house with no running water. Although he earns $80 a month as a mason, it is difficult to cover the basic needs of his family. Juliana has a child but still lives in her parents’ house, which has two bedrooms but no running water or electricity.
