Fatmata lives with her aunt’s family of six in the Wellington community in a two bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity. Her aunt is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $50. This is not enough to cover the basic family needs.
Fatmata attends Primary School and she is in class five. She wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
Fatmata thanks you, Tom, for your donation of a mosquito net. She can now sleep soundly, feeling safe from the threat of malaria carrying mosquitoes.
