gave 320 for a bag of rice |
posted June 23, 2011

The Bangura family live in a single bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity in the Wellington Community of Freetown, Sierra Leone. The father is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $50 which is not enough to cover the basic family needs. The mother is also a petty trader that helps her husband in taking care of the family needs. They have six children. The Bangura family are thankful to receive a bag of rice in this rainy season when the cost of food is escalating.
Hawa, Brima and Fatmata attend the Wellington Orphanage primary school and are in classes five, one and three respectively. Alhaji is attending the Evangelical Mission Junior Secondary School. Thank you Greg for providing rice for the Bangura family!
