gave 30 for a school uniform |
posted May 1, 2011

Josephine lives at upper Mellon Street in the Wellington community with her parents and four siblings in a three bedroom apartment with electricity, but no running water. She is eight-years-old and attends the Wellington Orphanage Primary School. She enjoys reading and math, which fits her desire to become a banker when she grows older. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a petty trader who also takes care of the housework. Together they make a monthly income of $70, which is not enough to cover even the basic of family needs.
She is thankful to receive her gift and her parents were delighted to see her in a new uniform. Thank you for preparing Josephine for another year!
