Little Marian Has Big Dreams!

Marian expresses her thanks and appreciation for the uniforms you helped give her.

She lives with her father, mother, two brothers and her cousin in one bedroom zinc sheet home. She is fortunate enough to have electricity there, but running water is a thing she lives without. Therefore, Marian – as small as she is – has to assist her mother with fetching water every morning before she goes to school.

Her father works hard as a carpenter, but his monthly income of $50 is just not enough to make ends meet for this family.

Marian is eight years old, and she is currently attending the U M C Primary School. Even though she has known hardship, her dream is to be a banker.
