Hannah is Dressed for Future Success

Hannah lives with her father, mother, and five sisters in a 2-bedroom zinc sheet home with no running water, no electricity, and poor toilet facilities. Although Hannah’s father is a soldier, his monthly income of only $100 is not enough to cover the family’s basic needs.  Every day, Hannah walks to school without shoes in her torn uniform. Usually, she does not have breakfast or lunch, and any dinner is prepared late in the evening. Despite her humble beginnings, Hannah is focused on becoming a lawyer, so she studies late into the night by the light of a kerosene lamp.
