Better Than an Apple a Day

When it’s time for Grace to sleep, she joins her mother and two of her sisters on the single bed they share.  The whole family lives in a 1-bedroom house with no electricity or running water.  Grace’s father is a plumber, earning $50 a month.  As you can imagine, this is not enough to meet the basic needs of his family. Sadly, they usually go to bed on empty stomachs. In spite of difficulties, Grace has high hopes for the future and studies late at night. One day, she plans on teaching!
