Ya Mbalu Extends Her Thanks

Ya Mbalu lives with her son’s family at Upper Magnus Street in the Wellington community of Sierra Leone. The home has no running water and no electricity. She takes care of her six grandchildren when their parents are not at home.

Her son is a mason and the main provider of the home with monthly income of $100. This is not enough to cover the family’s basic needs.
