posted February 9, 2011

Kadijatu lives with her grandmother, two brothers and two sisters in a two bed room house with no running water but with electricity. Kadijatu’s grandmother is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $70, which is not enough to cover the family needs.
Kadijatu attends the Ahmadiyya Muslim primary school in the Wellington community and she is in the second grade. Kadijatu wants to be a lawyer when she grows up.
