Neighbors Receive Mosquito Nets!

ADAMA, SAM, CHRISTIANA, SARAH, ROSE

Hi Ryan, Charlie, Riley, Sophie and Sabina,

Adama, Sam, Christiana, Sarah and Rose all live in the Wellington Community in Sierra Leone.

Adama is a mother of four children. She lives with her family in a two bedroom house with no running water and no electricity. She is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $450, which is not enough to cover the basic needs of the family. Her husband is unemployed.

Christiana is a grandmother caring for four grandchildren and works as a gardener. She lives in one of her son’s homes, which is a three bedroom house with no running water or electricity.

Sarah is also a grandmother with three grandchildren. She works as a gardener and lives in her own house, which is a three bedroom home with no running water but with electricity.

Rose is a mother of one child and she is training to be a caterer.

Sam is a father of five children and the main provider for his family with a monthly income of $70, which is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home.

Thank you Ryan, Charlie, Riley, Sophie and Sabina for your hard work and donations. The mosquito nets you donated will help protect these neighbors from the threat of malaria!
