Free from the threat of malaria!

SENTO, FAMATA, KADIATU, MARAIN, ADAMA

Hi Azaan, Natalie, Corban and Zahra,

Sento, Fatmata, Kadiatu, Marian, and Adama live in the Wellington Community of Sierra Leone.

Sento is mother of three children and lives, together with her children and her husband, in a single bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity. Sento works as a petty trader to help her husband in caring for the family. Her husband is a plumber and the main provider, with a monthly income of $70, which is not enough to cover the basic needs of the home.

Fatmata is a mother of two children and she is also a seamstress. Her husband is a driver and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $70, which is not enough to cover basic family needs.

Adama attends the Ahmadiyya Islamic Primary School and she is in class six. She lives with her parents, sister and two brothers in a two bedroom apartment zinc sheet home with no running water and no electricity. She dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up.

Kadiatu is a mother of three children and works as a petty trader. Her husband is the primary provider, a laborer with a monthly income of $60, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs.

Marian is a mother of two children. Her husband is a driver and the main provider of the home with monthly income of $80, which does not cover basic family needs.

Thank you Azaan, Natalie, Corban, Zahra, and Anonymous Donor, for your hard work and donations. The mosquito nets help protect these neighbors from the threat of malaria!
