gave 10 for a mosquito net |
posted January 31, 2011

Grace attends the Christians In Action Church together with her mother and sisters in the Wellington community. They live in single bedroom house with no running water and no electricity.
Grace has really survived by God’s grace all her life. Her family most often sleeps on empty stomachs. She uses a locally made kerosene lamp to study at night and sleeps on a single bed together with her mother and two of her sisters.
Her father is a plumber and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $50, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs. Her mother is a teacher in training and does not earn much to help her husband in taking care of the home. Grace wants to be a teacher like her mother when she grows up.
Thank you, Athima, for your gift. The mosquito net helps protect Grace from malaria and keeps her dreaming of the future!
