Mabel is in fourth grade in the Wellington community of Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Her father and her mother died, so she lives with her sister in a single bedroom apartment with no running water and no electricity.
Mabel does light errands for people in her community to raise money for her lunch.
Her sister is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $60.
Mabel wants to be humanitarian worker when she grows up. Thank you for your gifts. You have provided Mabel with a year’s worth of nutritional supplements, which will help her concentrate in school!
