A New Energy and Strength

Joseph lives with his mother and sister in Freetown, Sierra Leone in a single bedroom zinc house with no running water and no electricity.

Joseph’s mother has two children and when she gave birth to her second child her father drove her away from his house. This promising boy has faced many problems due to the change of environment from his grandfather’s house.

Joseph’s feeding is determined by the donations his mother receives from church members in the local church she attends. Joseph and his mother use a kerosene lamp at night and he sleeps on a mat spread out on the bare floor.
