Thanks to your hard work and donation, Aminata can now sleep safe under her malaria net!
Aminata lives with her mother, three brothers and two sisters in a two bedroom house with no running water or electricity. Aminata wakes up early in the morning to fetch water for her mother and her siblings from a stream located a mile from their home.
Her mother is a petty trader and is the main provider in the home. Her monthly income of $70 is not enough to cover the basic family needs. Aminata does light errands and gathers water for people in her neighborhood to help when her mother’s business is slow.
Aminata attends the Ahmadiyya Muslim primary school in the Wellington community in Sierra Leone and she is in class five. She likes reading, writing and she is a very good drummer. Aminata wants to be a caterer when she grows up.
Thank you Sabina for providing a mosquito net for Aminata!
