Providing a Future for Hassan

Hassan is four years old and lives with his father, mother, and two sisters in a single bedroom apartment with no running water or electricity. His father is a carpenter and the main provider of the home with monthly income of $60, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs, including malaria prevention.  His mother is a petty trader and uses the income she gets from her business to compliment her husband’s effort to manage the affairs of the home. Hassan would love  to go school, and likes playing football with his friends, swimming, and following his sisters to the stream to launder their clothes.
