Meet Uliaman, Mariatu, Yellie, Mary and Alpha. Alpha and Suliaman live in a compound closeby Mary and Yellie. Mariatu is the mother of Alpha and Suliaman’s sister. Her husband makes $100 a month, and is unable to cover the family’s basic needs. To help out, Mariatu works as a housewife and trades on the side.
Like Mariatu, Yallie is a mother with six children. She trades to pay tuition for two of her kids. Unfortunately, $60 a month does not suffice and she struggles everyday.
Mary lives with her aunt, but cannot afford schooling.
In spite of their differences, they share a common threat: mosquitoes and malaria. With your donation, they all received mosquito nets and are free to dream–without the interruptions or dangers posed by mosquitoes! Thank you so much, Sophie. Your donation means so much to them!
