posted November 17, 2010

Hawanatu is the youngest of her parent’s three children. Her family lives in Sierra Leone in a two bedroom house with no running water and no electricity together
with three extended relatives.
Her father works as a guard and is the main provider of the home. With a monthly income of $60, he does not make enough to cover the basic family needs. Hawanatu’s mother is housewife and she also sometimes works as a hairdresser. She receives less than $10 a month.
Hawanatu is a talented athlete. She wants to be a lawyer when she grows up.
Thank you Mark for providing a mosquito net that will keep her safe from malaria!
