Kadiatu attends junior secondary school and she walks two miles to and from school everyday. Kadiatu lives in a very old mud house (two bedroom) with her father, mother, and siblings. In their home there is no electricity, no pipe borne water, and a poor toilet facility.
Her father and her mother are petty traders and coproviders of the home with a monthly income of $90, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs. Most of the time they go without food, especially when business is bad. If it were not for the timely intervention of some neighbors, hunger will have ended their lives. Her family has not been able to provide malaria prevention. Thank you Patricia for your donation! Her new net will prevent malaria!
