Better Health and Balance Ball Games for Ishiatu
Ishiatu lives with her father, mother, brother, and sister in a single bedroom mud house with no running water and no electricity. Ishiatu attends the Ahmadiyya muslim primary school. Ishiatu likes playing balance ball, a children’s game which is popular in Sierra Leone.
Her father is a petty trader and the main provider of the home with a monthly income of $80, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs, including food. Vitamin supplements are helping provide Ishiatu the nutrition she lacks. Many thanks to Mary, Timothy, Roland and Lindy.
