A Mosquito Net for a Girl with Big Dreams

Fatima lives with her father, mother, two brothers, and four sisters together with six extended family members. All of them live in a two bedroom zinc house with no running water and no electricity. Fatima’s father works as a petty trader and is the main provider for the family. His monthly income is $40, which is not enough to cover the basic family needs, including malaria prevention.

Fatima attends a Christian primary school in the Wellington municipality. She has to walk a mile and half everyday to pursue her academic goals. Fatima wants to be a lawyer when she grows up!
