gave 500 for a mosquito net |
posted November 4, 2010

This family lives in a corrugated zinc home with no running water or electricity. Kadiatu, the mother, has two children of her own and also helps take care of two additional children from her extended family. Her husband has abandoned the family and does not support the family’s needs. They live in a small, rented two bed room and parlor apartment. They struggle to make ends meet on Kadiatu’s income from selling fish at the local market. Her income of around $80 monthly is barely enough to make ends meet.
David, your donation has made Kadiatu and her family so happy! Malaria is spread by mosquitoes, and these mosquito nets ensure they are safe from illness as they rest. Thank you so much!
