Memunatu attends primary school in the Wellington Community in Sierra Leone and she is in fourth grade. This promising girl enjoys reading and singing and wants to be a nurse when she grows up.
She lives with her parents in a two bedroom block house with no running water but with electricity. Her father is a mason and the main provider of the home. His monthly income of $60 is not enough to cover the family needs.
Memunatu does light errands to raise money for her lunch. During school breaks Memunatu helps her three sisters sell vegetables to help keep their home.
Kathleen, Lee, Cathy and Ramesh, thank you for your support of a year of vitamin supplements for Memunatu. This will give a new meaning to her life.
