Ruth, Binta and Andrew’s New Net Keep the Mosquitoes Away!

Ruth, Binta and Andrew
Dear Emer,

Ruth is a primary school teacher at the Vicray’s Primary School in the Wellington community. Her husband abandoned her and her two children for some years now. Things have not been easy for her since. She is unable to take care of her children because her income pays off her fees at the Freetown Teachers’ College.

She is living with Andrew’s family in a two bedroom house with no running water, but with electricity. Andrew is a pupil at the Evangelical Model High School in the Wellington municipality. Binta is staying with her step father in the same compound where Ruth and Andrew live. She is attending the U M C primary school in Wellington and is in third grade.

They are grateful for the timely offer of their bed nets. Recently, there has been an increase of mosquitoes not only in Wellington, but also in the country of Sierra Leone. Thank you Emer–your wonderful donations keep mosquitoes and malaria away!
